Why copy a sentence you read?
Underlining a good sentence and adding it to your own notes are different experiences. As you write it out, you notice which words stay with you.
One line of reflection is enough
Below a quotation, write only why it caught your attention today. This can capture who you were that day better than a summary of the book.
Give it a name you can find again
Along with the book title, add topics you might think of later, such as work, relationships, or creativity. You'll be able to return to the sentence when you need it.
